Our client is a Financial Services Provider who offer a tailored investment process and industry leading local & offshore portfolio construction.
A detail-oriented, proactive, individual, the Portfolio Administrator, will be responsible for the setup, maintenance, and oversight of investment products and transactions between key parties. The role includes performance tracking, data validation, and preparation of client and management reports, ensuring portfolios comply with mandates, regulatory requirements, and fee structures.
Key Responsibilities
Product set-up, maintenance & record keeping
Managing & controlling all transactions processed between relevant parties
Set-up & maintenance of trading instructions, input & send authorised trade instructions
Monitor & check execution of trade instructions via the pricing administrator
Monthly monitoring of portfolio positions provided by LISP
Confirmation that portfolios conform to latest regulatory requirements
Maintain a performance tracker using Morningstar reports and Excel models
Create graphs, tables & other information into a reporting format
Analyse fee splits between respective parties so that all fees are justifiable to relevant parties
Monitor & report to management on the adherence to contractual obligations
Data validation using multiple reporting sources
Requirements
BCom Investments
One year experience working in financial services and/or investment management
Basic understanding of comprehensive personal financial instruments, investment vehicles, asset allocation, and concepts of portfolio design / diversification
Excellent communication skills
Proficient in Word and Excel
Experience working with Bloomberg
Detail oriented, with a high degree of accuracy
Team player who will mentor and support team members
