A wealth management company based in the southern suburbs is looking for a seasoned Accountant to join their team for a 3- 6 month period.

Management Accounts:
Responsibility for trial balance- all daily capturing of bank statement amounts.
This involves requesting daily statements from Service Providers who pay commission into our account.
Once statements are received, processing of invoices to match the payment received, as well as cost allocation of invoice to
relevant advisor, depending on clients within statement.
In conjunction with the processing of the income invoice, the commission schedule for each advisor will
need to be simultaneously updated, with a few intricacies involved in the schedules.
Processing of all manual invoices to be raised and sent out to debtors, on quarterly or monthly basis.
Processing of all manual supplier invoices for referral fees, also on a quarterly basis. This will also involve
some trust valuations to be done quarterly.
Trail Balance and Journals:
Submission of completed trial balance by agreed timeline to produce management accounts. This will
include standard monthly journals e.g. depreciation.
Maintenance of fixed asset register.
Some of the functions described above are being performed by administrators outside of the finance
function, and this role allows us to free up capacity for the advisor administrators by consolidating all
finance functions to the financial accountant and financial manager.
