Candidate Architectural Technologist

Our client a Cape Town based property developer is looking for a Candidate Technologist to support their in-house Senior Technologist with Industrial / Commercial building projects.

Essential requirements:

  • National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience
  • SACAP registered
  • Drivers’ License
  • Experience in the following packages:
    • Revit
    • AutoCAD
    • SketchUp
    • Render software

Key performance areas:

  • Assist with concepts, designs and presentation drawings
  • Converting conceptual designs to council submission
  • Compiling construction drawings and details
  • Measuring and redrawing existing building
  • Liaise with relevant councils
  • Liaise with engineers and consultants
  • Performing administrative functions related to the above
  • Performing administrative functions related to building maintenance

Additional important information

  • Candidates must be fully vaccinated
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Office based position, no working from home
  • A portfolio of work completed will be to your advantage
  • Remuneration will be based on experience related to key performance areas
