Customer Relationship Manager

A vacancy exists for an experienced CRM to join a leading Investment Management firm. This is a brilliant opportunity to apply your client relationship support skills and experience in support of a dynamic, highly competent investment team. The role will provide key support to clients and oversight of the outsourced fund administration service. This critical role requires someone passionate about client service and delivery. You will apply your knowledge and experience of client relationship management and fund administration processes and operations to improve the client experience in a key role of this dynamic team.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Full responsibility of Client portfolios and servicing these clients to the best of your ability, acting as the main point of contact for Client
  • Responsible for all client reporting responsibilities, assisting with special reporting requirements – where applicable
  • Full Client Onboarding. Facilitating, monitoring and validation of the end-to-end process of all client investments, disinvestments and asset transfer
  • Overseeing and monitoring the delivery of the Fund Administration provider to ensure client service levels are met, issues identified are resolved timeously and SLA’s are adhered to
  • Responsible for the investigation and resolution of all client queries and requests
  • Maintain good internal relationships between various departments within Prescient Investment Management and Prescient Fund Services
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date information of client portfolios
  • Provide support as required with AIM implementation
  • Preparation and maintenance of procedure documentation
  • Improve processes, reduce risk and increase operational efficiencies
  • Ensuring adherence to all FICA requirements

Required Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a related client relationship management/client reporting role in Asset Management/Asset Management operations is essential
  • Experience in Fund Accounting, ideally with knowledge of the local and offshore investment market
  • Strong technical knowledge of Financial Services Industry specifically Asset Management
  • Knowledge of relevant Investment administration systems
  • Knowledge of the regulations and legislation that govern the Asset Management industry

Required Qualifications

University Degree BCOM/Business Science (Finance/Accounting)

System Exposure

Strong Excel skills

Exposure to back office systems – (Knowledge of Eagle system an advantage)

Knowledge of Bloomberg AIM preferred
