Finance Manager – property investments

A property investment company based in the southern suburbs is looking for a Finance Manager.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • You are a CA (SA) with clients at audit in property or financial services;
  • You understand business ethics and values;
  • You have an in-depth understanding of IFRS & GAAP requirements;
  • You understand Tax Legislation;
  • You have strong knowledge of the asset management environment and related accounting treatments;
  • You have strong knowledge of the property industry and property finance experience;
  • You have commercial and financial acumen;
  • You have minimum 5 years’ current, relevant experience in a respected financial services institution and some work in listed entities – at audit would suffice;
  • You have strong knowledge of MS applications;
  • You have advanced MS Excel skills;

DUTIES:

  • Review monthly management accounts
  • Monthly NAV calcs and distribtion of investor monthly info
  • Resolve queries from investors
  • Manage relationship with service providers
  • Cash flow management and forecasting
  • Implementation of shareholder funding/restructuring
  • Fund setup
  • Liaise with banks and relationship managers.
    Review new and current funding
    Manage draw downs of funding
    Resolve queries from banks
    Implementation of new funding
