Financial Assistant/Bookkeeper

Our client, working in the digital advertising space, is looking to hire a Mid-level Financial Assistant to join their highly motivated team and to work alongside the CFO.

Candidates should have a minimum of 4-5 years of Full Accounting and Bookkeeping experience and have a relevant financial qualification.

The ideal candidate should be meticulous about managing their record keeping, analytical skills, bookkeeping skills and should have a responsible work ethic, a can-do attitude and be willing to work closely with the team on all levels of the account.

The ideal individual for this position is someone who is passionate, diligent and self-driven, someone who is attentive and efficient, who enjoys delivering precise information under strict deadlines.

Responsibilities
● Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations of the company
● Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
● Manage Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations
● Manage the online filing system and Asset Registry
● Analysis and control of expenses and variance to budgets
● Assistance with the preparation of Monthly Reporting
● Assistance with external reviews to ensure accurate year-end financials
● Reporting on account performance
● Manage relationships with various clients

Skills:
● Xero experience will be advantageous
● Excellent attention to detail
● Strong Excel skills
● Excellent communication skills
● Excellent Accounts Receivable management capabilities
● Outstanding reporting and presentation skills
● Statutory skills will be advantageous
● Excellent Time Management skills

Requirements
● Thorough understanding of accountancy
● Full Bookkeeping Experience (Minimum 4-5 years)
● Monthly Reporting experience of (Minimum 2 years)
● Degree/Diploma
● Working Knowledge of an Accounting Package
