Managing Director – Foreign Exchange, Claremont Southern Suburbs

Our client, a sophisticated foreign exchange trading house based in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town, is seeking a Managing Director to join their team. The purpose of the role is to provide support to the CEO with daily functions, support the CIO with projects relating to trading cryptocurrencies, FX & derivatives, and to support the COO with development team with back & front-end projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge in crypto and or fintech
  • FSCA and FAIS compliance
  • Marketing of financial services
  • Overseeing legal and contractual documents
  • Daily functions and support CEO, CIO and COO
  • Projects and trading

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in either Finance, Commerce, IT
  • Experience in financial services, fintech and or crypto (10 yrs min)
  • Strong operational experience

Skills and Attributes:

  • Strong Excel skills is mandatory
  • Exposure to HR, marketing, compliance, legal
  • Excellent at problem solving
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Interested in Cryptocurrency
  • Coding skills is not required but would be a bonus
