The Wealth Manager’s role focuses on growing the business by attracting new clients, deepening existing relationships, and cross-selling integrated wealth, fiduciary, and investment services. The role delivers a high-quality, client-centric experience while working closely with internal teams to manage client portfolios seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct presentations and proposals to achieve client acquisition targets.
Network, obtain referrals, and monitor appointment-to-closure ratios to optimize results.
Manage seminar invitations, attend events, and follow up on leads.
Schedule and conduct client reviews; prepare review packs with WMA team.
Meet with clients regularly to provide wealth management advice and identify cross-selling opportunities.
Reassess client risk profiles and financial needs; deliver comprehensive wealth and financial services.
Maintain detailed client financial plans and records in XPlan; ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Track tasks, follow-ups, and reporting with WMA team; use XPlan for client engagement and reporting.
Participate in weekly team meetings and contribute to industry updates and presentations.
Collect, maintain, and update all client information; ensure 100% compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements
Commerce or Business Science undergraduate degree with postgraduate in Financial Planning
Further postgrad qualifications advantageous
Proven and relevant experience (5+ years) of giving advice and holistic financial planning to high-net worth and ultra-high net worth clients
Xplan or similar CRM system
Microsoft Office suite
Tenacity, sales ability, initiative, planning, professional presentation skills, flexibility, people management, emotional intelligence
